Art Deco Clichy glass ball ceiling light

Superb Art Deco period ball ceiling light. The 20 cm diameter globe is made of pink (speckled) Clichy glass, enhanced with a double diagonal gold stripe around the edge. It rests on an aluminum base, with the modern lines of the Art Deco movement. No socket - soft, warm light. In good condition. This antique light fixture is a beautiful piece both switched on and off, ideal for an entryway, bathroom, hallway, or bedroom. The ceiling light is in good overall condition, with no cracks or chips on the glass. Some signs of age on the aluminum, normal for a piece from this period, but nothing that detracts from its charm.
