Vintage ARALIA sofa set by LIGNE ROSET, by designer Michel Ducaroy

Collector's items, because they are no longer in production! ARALIA 4-piece set consisting of a corner sofa, a 2-seater sofa, a fireside chair and an ottoman. Original upholstery in excellent condition. Original foams, backgrounds and labels. Its brown velvet is original and removable, zipped on the bottom. This set dates from 1979. It has been preserved in excellent condition because it was kept in a vacation home, and therefore little used during all these years (a photo shows a place where the velvet shows wear, over a few millimeters), we see no trace of patina. Considering its age, the foam is still sturdy and fits wonderfully! Thanks to the higher backrest and headrest, this sofa is super comfortable (even better than a Togo)! ARALIA sofas were designed by the famous designer Michel Ducaroy (known for Togo, Marsala, Kashima, Yoko, Kali, Cinna, etc.). Inspired by the famous TOGO model, ARALIA is slightly more structured, it offers great seating comfort, a square silhouette and an inclined backrest. It stands out with its vintage style.
