Cerenne Plate Vallauris 1950s Fish Decor by Pierre Rinaudo

Superb dish / large ceramic plate from Vallauris, a vintage piece produced by the famous Atelier Cerenne and decorated by Pierre Rinaudo (active at Cerenne from 1955 to 1959). Magnificent enamel work with a vibrant red and a stylised fish decoration featuring very textured foam/lava enamel effects. The piece bears the embossed stamp "Cerenne Vallauris" on the back as well as the handwritten signature of the painter. Diameter: 25 cm. Height: 3 cm. Period: 1955-1959. Condition: Very good overall condition, very bright enamel. For transparency, please note two very light micro-chips (one on the inner edge and one under the rim on the back, visible in the detail photos).
