Exceptional pair of safari chairs designed by Arne Norell and produced by Arne Norell AB in Sweden in the 1960s. Made from solid ash and covered in original black leather, these chairs exemplify Scandinavian modernism with their functional and lightweight construction and timeless aesthetic. This particular set has been extremely well preserved - it has only been used for exhibition and has been carefully maintained over the years with regular leather treatments. As a result, the chairs remain in exceptional condition, showing only minimal signs of use. The leather is soft and supple, and the wooden frames are clean and sturdy.
