Model solar system

Rare example of the georama of the amateur astronomer pierre bourge who had designed this tool explaining the movement of the earth as well as day, night, seasons, lunar phases and eclipses. It was distributed in schools by the jeulin establishments. Our model is one of the first made in 1966. It works perfectly, each element can rotate around the sun represented by a white opaline globe. The earth is made of metal and the moon plastic type ping-pong ball. The base is beech. The 10-page booklet explaining how the tool works is sold with the item. The lighting is sufficient to consider the object as an accent lamp.
