Empty-pocket in earthenware painted in imitation of olive wood, decorated with a cat in chinese shade, of grandjean-jourdan. Grandjean-jourdan pottery is originally a culinary pottery factory founded in vallauris in 1868, which in the early 1950s, adds to its traditional production, a line of artistic pottery. In the mid-1950s, the idea of imitating olive wood was born, a décor that met with great success. The profiles in chinese shadow are due to the painter emile masson.
