Raul Barbieri's Doppiopetto coat rack for Rexite, 1992

Beautiful coats of the italian designer raul barbieri, model doppiopetto published by rexite in 1992. It is steel and polymer technique, matte black finish. (sold nine at 293 euros). It has 6 pads with suits or coats with a very clever design that allows not to damage the clothes by marrying their shape and 6 hooks. It disassembles in five pieces. Raul barbieri was born in 1946 in milan, italy. He studied architecture at the polytechnic university of milan in 1972. Since 1989, he has run his own studio in milan. He created several objects in partnership with the rexite brand, including this coats in 1992. The national museum of oslo has one in its design collection. Height of 165 cm. Weight of 7.2 kg. Good general condition, a rather discreet claw on the foot.
