Large vintage blown glass vase in Murano style.

Superb large cylindrical vase (tube shape) made of hand-blown glass, dating from the 1980s/1990s. A remarkable piece of glass art noted for its quality of craftsmanship and weight, featuring an impressive glass thickness of 8 mm throughout its height. The decoration consists of a wide two-colour relief glass ribbon applied hot. It spirals around the vase, transitioning from a translucent olive/amber at the top to a smoked brown streaked with fine white lines at the bottom. Its neck, with a diameter of 5.5 cm, allows for a lovely small bouquet of 2 to 3 flowers (it is not a simple narrow vase).
