Pitcher by Albert Thiry Vallauris

Pitcher with floral decoration made by the Thiry workshop in Vallauris. Dark brown sandstone-type earthenware ceramic, typical of their work. Decor on a slightly transparent white enamel background allowing the color of this particular earth to shine through. Greenish shades in the enamel. Earth left raw at the level of the pistil of the flower. Blue flower decoration in relief hollowed out in the mass using the sgrafitte technique. Lots of different techniques and different cooking styles on this pitcher. Entirely made by hand at the beginning of the second half of the 20th century. Signed on the heel. Very good condition. Height 18 x 11.5 x 14 cm.
