Vintage PH5 pendant lamp by Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen, 1958

The PH 5 lamp is an icon of Danish design that has gained immense popularity worldwide. Designed by the famous designer and architect Poul Henningsen in 1958, the PH 5 is still manufactured by Louis Poulsen today. The shape of the lamp is based on the principle of a reflective system, which directs light not only downwards but also to the sides, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its design, the PH 5 emits diffuse, glare-free light with a warm tone. Dimensions: Diameter: 50 cm. Height: 27.6 cm. The lamp is in very good condition, with minimal natural signs of age. It dates from the 1990s. The lamp has been carefully cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new braided cable. A new metal ceiling rose is included. The lamp is shipped from Denmark.
