Enamelled ceramics. Outdoor painting: 6 red-orange stripes. The reliefs between the stripes are white with a golden border. A slight loss of enamel (see photo) and shine in the red. The edges are immaculate. The coin bears the numbers 4219 and 3 (in the mass of the ass). Two brands also in this place: "Porcelaine opaque - Strasbourg - Lucien Engel" (with an angel's head and two wings in gold) and "Villeroy - Boch - Mettlach - Made in France-Saar - Economic Union" (in green, topped with the character with the winged helmet of the brand). NB: The workshops were then in Mettlach, in Saarland- which was under French governance between 1948 and 1956.
