Small round beech drop-leaf table - soft country spirit

This small beech table belonged to the grandmother of the young woman who entrusted it to me. Time had left its marks: cracks at the feet, woodworm holes, a missing wedge under a flap... I chose not to try to erase everything but rather to preserve what gives it its charm. After a complete sanding, a treatment for wood-boring insects, some repairs, filling the woodworm holes on the top, and an oiled finish, here it is ready for a new chapter. Its compact size allows it to fit in easily: as a small dining table, a side table, or a console when closed. A simple, warm piece, whose grain and imperfections tell a whole story. Diameter: 89 cm.
