Brutalist handcrafted chairs, France, 1960s, set of 5

A set of four Brutalist chairs made by a French craftsman in the 1960s. These oak and beech chairs feature a thick solid wood seat from which emerge four unfinished wooden legs and a T-shaped backrest. The dimensions and seat height vary depending on the chair. Very heavy and solid, they would be more at home in a cozy Brutalist living room than around a table. The small bench/side table comes from the same workshop and is part of the set. Chair dimensions: H: 80 to 82 cm. W: 52 to 56 cm. D: 35 to 40 cm. Seat height: 43, 43, 44, 48 cm. Weight: 10 to 20 kg each. Bench dimensions: H: 46 cm. W: 64 cm. D: 25 cm. Weight: 5 to 10 kg.
