Golden Wooden Mirror with Winged Animal Decorations - Late 19th Century

Small rectangular mirror in golden wood, richly ornamented. Its mercury ice cream is original and shows some traces of its 150 years of history. Its frame is cut into bevels and carved from several friezes. It is equipped with a fronton with winged animal decorations on either side of a blason. The scene is based on an embellished base of friezes reminiscent of those mentioned above and which will also be found in the lower part. The latter is also generously carved, volutes, foliage and other motifs. Period: late 19th century.
