Complete cutlery set Pantry, designed by Henning Seidelin in 1968 for the Swedish manufacturer Gense. Made of stainless steel, the Pantry collection has become a classic of Scandinavian design. It is notably nicknamed “the sailor’s cutlery” due to the characteristic opening at the end of each handle. Originally designed for use at sea, the cutlery could easily be hung on a hook to prevent it from moving with the boat's movements. A functional detail that has become the graphic signature of the collection. The set includes 32 pieces for 8 people: * 8 knives. * 8 forks. * 8 soup spoons. * 8 teaspoons. A beautiful example of Scandinavian functionalism from the 1960s, both minimal, ingenious, and timeless. In very good vintage condition, with slight signs of use consistent with age.
