I offer you this cache pot in cloisonné bronze decorated with polychromy. We recognize the hollyhock used by the tokugawa clan which was the most powerful daimyo clan in japan. This clan ruled japan from 1603 to 1868 edo period. Height 24 cm, diameter 30 cm. Unsoldered bottom (this is usual for this type of object). Natural firing defects. Mid-19th century. Superb.
