Beautiful vase in modern german lava pottery from the mid-century by Scheurich Keramik. In the "fat lava" style that helped make them famous, this pitcher vase features rich and beautiful shades of beige and rich chocolate brown, all with an amazing textured finish. A very nice example of Scheurich West Germany pottery "fat washes". Colors and textures of this pitcher are really superb. Signed under the base and numbered 496 18. Height 18 cm weight 550g.
