An old painting in oil on canvas signed H. Bauffay and dated 1943. A beautiful example of a still life from the 1940s depicting a bouquet of white berries (symphorines) and green foliage arranged in a vase decorated with floral and geometric patterns. The vase rests on a striped tablecloth with a solid brown-beige background. Classic and decorative composition, warm and harmonious colours. Period canvas in good used condition (slight craquelures).
