Hurtault family sandstone milk pitcher, Puisaye, La Borne

Here is a milk pot (9.5 cm high) made of sandstone fashioned by claude hurtault. Initially a farmer, he turned to the profession of potter as a self-taught potter. He turned professional in 1976, the year in which he installed his pottery in the hamlet of guimards, a workshop later taken over by his children nathalie and christophe hurtault. The latter pass on family and regional know-how (puisaye, la borne). This little vintage pitcher is signed and in perfect condition. It's perfect for giving a rustic chic touch to a family table.
