Very elegant system desk in blond mahogany.

Very elegant desk with a folding top in blond mahogany, circa 1900. With a very refined design, in a precious wood species, warm but luminous, this desk is all about discreet elegance. It rests on 4 very nicely finished legs, joined by a curved wooden spacer. Closed, it serves as a serving trolley, or a support piece. But when you grab the cornice molding and pull it upwards, it tilts, activating the cast iron system, folding the front part of the top backwards while sliding the top forward. All this is done in a single movement, with astonishing flexibility. We then end up with a stepped desk housing two rows of drawers for letters, pens, charger etc and a beautiful work space. Everything is in superb condition, space-saving but very functional. A beautiful, unusual piece. H: 79 cm. W: 80 cm. P: 45.5 cm (folded) and 66 cm unfolded.
