Small silver-plated apple bowls / Trinket dish

This lovely pair of vintage silver-plated apple-shaped bowls would be perfect for appetizers or snacks, as their size is ideal for nuts or olives, for example. They would also be perfect as elegant candy dishes, jam jars, etc. The metal on these bowls tarnishes, which is normally an indicator of silver plating, but since there are no markings to confirm this, they are sold as plain metal, although they are likely silver-plated. In good vintage condition, the bowls have some superficial scratches, which is normal for vintage metal items. One of them has a small chip on the base where the silver plating has worn away, but it is quite small and not visible unless the bowl is turned upside down. Including the stork, the bowls measure approximately 3.5 cm X 9 cm X 7 cm (measured at the widest points) and have a total weight of 200 g (excluding packaging). A lovely pair of apple-shaped dishes to use at home or to give as a gift.
