2 Longchamp ceramic coffee cups and saucers

Charming set of two cups and saucers from the Longchamp earthenware factory, with beautiful colors in caramel and coffee tones. Ideally sized for espresso machines. The ceramic tradition in the small village of Longchamp in the Jura has existed for more than 6 centuries, but it was in 1832 that ceramics for tableware appeared, and this pottery tradition still continues there. According to my research on the stamp under the saucers, this set dates from the 1970s. The set is in good general condition but does not hide its age and the patina that goes with it: a little wear, cracks and a very small loss on the glaze on the rim of a cup and a saucer. The cups measure 7 cm in height, 6.5 cm in diameter, the saucers measure 12.5 cm in diameter. The set weighs approximately 460g.
