Sofa Rolf Benz 'Pluraform' Germany 1964 1st edition

Very rare 1st edition Pluraform sofa by Rolf Benz of 1964. The seats have always their fabric beautiful original and in almost new condition. The tables are in Brazilian rosewood veneer and is based on a base in chromed metal. German design in the middle of the century is the best and most innovative. The sitting part of the sofa can be extracted to create extra living space or a sofa bed. The addiform and the Pluraform were the first two models with Rolf Benz arrived on the market with the launch of its brand and its luxury in 1964 furniture plant. This is one of them! These sofas can be ordered in a set - up requested by the customer, tailored to the size, shape and taste. Pluraform and Addiform say something like "change or vary" in the form. There are very few of these sets on the market these days, which makes them extremely rare. Individual seats and the tables can be dragged one next to each other to create a different configuration.
