Stouby brown leather & cherry wood 3 seat sofa 1970s

Condition: very good with some small sings of wear, in the form of light surface scratches to the seat cushions, as well as rubbing to the colour on the fronts of the seat cushion piping (see images) Description: a very elegant danish 1980s three seat sofa, produced by danish manufacturer stouby. The sofa is upholstered in genuine dark brown coloured buffalo leather, the leather being a trademark of the stouby craftsmanship. The sofa features removable cushions and has the addition of side cushion inserts. The whole piece is raised on a stunning open slatted frame produced from cherry wood, an uncommon but added quality feature, with four plain block cherry feet below. The typical stouby manufacturers stitching can also be found to the underside of all cushions. Purchased in denmark, this design classic is an original piece of mid century furniture.
