Set of 4 vintage Baumann bistro chairs in mismatched bent beech.

Superb set of 4 authentic vintage bistro chairs signed by the famous French manufacturer Baumann (stamped under the seat, see photo). Dating from the 1950s/1960s, they offer a trendy "mix & match" spirit while maintaining a beautiful visual unity. Details of the lot: • Structure: Curved solid beech, slightly hollowed seats for more comfort. • Composition: 3 chairs with full backrests (including one model with a central bar) and 1 chair with a backrest with 5 thin slats. • Color: Nice original patina with subtle shades of honey and golden wood that add a lot of authenticity. General condition: Good vintage condition. The chairs are sound, stable, and robust. They show signs of use, scratches, and wear of the original varnish on the seats, witnesses of their history in a period bistro.
