Traditional water gourd from Rajasthan (India). Late 19th, early 20th century. Made of iron, curved, forged and brazed with brass. The signs of oxidation have been brushed and halted, giving it a beautiful patina. Some small dents (see photos). Perfectly watertight, it will need to be weighted with gravel for use as a vase.
