Beautiful antique starfish Pentaceraster alveolatus mounted on a turned wooden base from the Napoleonic III era, with brass washers and a brass stem. A lovely unique piece for a cabinet of curiosities or marine decoration, by the seaside. It is in good condition, but being an antique shell, it may show some wear.
