Vintage display cabinet by BFM, Poland, 1960s

This mid-century display cabinet was produced in the 1960s by Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland as part of the “Syrius” type 1050 living room set. Finished in walnut veneer, the cabinet stands out for the distinct natural grain of the wood. The piece offers storage across three levels: a section with 2 sliding glass doors, an open shelf, and a lower compartment with 2 veneered sliding doors. Characteristic features of the “Syrius” series include turned legs that taper downwards and simple metal handles on the doors. The cabinet has been professionally restored.
