1970s Mid-Century modern modular sofa by Rodney Kinsman for OMK

A very rare 1960/70s low modular sectional sofa designed by Rodney Kinsman for his company OMK (Original Marketing Konsortium). OMK was a main supplier to Habitat in the late 1960s and 1970s. They helped furnish modern Britain in the same way G Plan did earlier—but with a more architectural, design-led approach. This sofa comprises five individual low lounge modules which can be arranged in several configurations. The brown corduroy fabric is original and in very good condition. The OMK brand is imprinted onto the small feet of the sofa. Size single modules. Height 74cm. Width 66cm. Depth 83cm. Seat height 42cm. Size corner modules. Height 74cm. Width 85cm. Depth 83cm.
