Vintage 20thc italian hand blown glass table lamp, murano

A striking Murano glass globe table lamp, produced in Venice, Italy, circa 1980. The large spherical shade is beautifully decorated with fine white lattimo-style spiral lines interwoven with wider brown bands, creating a dynamic swirling pattern across the creamy ground. The globe form gives the lamp a strong sculptural presence, while the delicate linear decoration enhances its sense of movement and depth. When illuminated, the glass emits a warm, diffused glow that highlights the layered striping and craftsmanship typical of Murano production. The shade is raised on a brass base, whose warm tone complements the subtle colouring of the glass. Both decorative and functional, this lamp makes an elegant statement piece for a sideboard, console, or bedside setting. CONDITION In good vintage condition.
