Magnificent collectible vase made of mouth-blown art glass and handcrafted, representing the best of Czechoslovak design from the 1970s. This iconic model (no. 7609) was designed in 1976 by the famous glassmaker František Špinar for the prestigious glassworks Škrdlovice (ÚMŘ Prague). The vase captivates with the technical mastery of its material: the upper part in transparent glass features a dense internal texture of thousands of fine air bubbles obtained by the addition of baking soda. The massive base is adorned with applications of colored glass in intense cobalt blue and bright grass green. The artist's visual signature lies in the hand-pressed concave optical lenses on the sides, which create stunning light effects and make each piece a unique original. An ideal investment opportunity for art glass enthusiasts and a timeless solitaire to enhance a modern or vintage interior. • Designer: František Špinar. • Manufacture: Škrdlovice, Czechoslovakia. • Model: 7609. • Year of creation: 1976. • Materials: Heavy art glass, bubble soda powder, colored inclusions. • Condition: Excellent vintage/collectible condition.
