Linen cushion with French and Mexican embroidery - 50x40cm - Hand-stitched. P.I.Project has been celebrating and honouring Mexican artisanal craftsmanship for over 10 years. We are a Franco-Mexican project that creates decorative objects for the home, blending contemporary style with traditional techniques, the result of valuable collaborations with our artisan partners. The "tenangos" are a means of expressing an allegorical vision of the world, transforming a simple fabric into one of the most representative traditions of Mexico. Otomi-tepehua women create these embroidered fabrics depicting the animal and plant kingdoms of their daily lives, working together to meet their household's economic needs while contributing to the preservation of regional culture. Unique piece, hand-stitched by Otomi-tepehua artisans. 100% Normandy linen fabric (Varengeville sur mer) 100% cotton thread. Delivered with its filling cushion. Height 50cm x width 40cm approx.
