MCM Bench

This is a substantial handmade bench, crafted in the Mid-Century Modern style from a combination of woods. Its appeal lies in the clean, linear silhouette and the striking contrast between the different wood tones, creating a piece that is both functional and visually engaging. The bench features a long, rectangular top constructed from mixed woods, showcasing a deep, reddish-brown central panel framed by a lighter-toned border. It rests on sturdy, black-finished legs that provide a subtle graphic counterpoint to the natural grain of the wood. Measuring 188 cm in length, 40 cm in depth, and 40 cm in height, its generous proportions offer versatile placement options. This piece exhibits a characterful patina that reflects its history and use over time. While it has undergone repairs, it remains structurally sound and stable for everyday use. The overall condition is consistent with a vintage item that has been part of a living environment.
