Pair of floral wall lights in gilded metal, 1960

Pair of floral wall sconces in gilded metal, in the style of Hans Kögl – 1960s. Composed of several rows of stylised petals and leaves worked in relief, they unfold around a luminous centre, forming a true radiant bouquet, almost solar. The metalwork, the volumes of the petals, and the warm golden patina strongly evoke the floral creations of Hans Kögl, an emblematic figure of decorative German-Italian lighting from the 1960s-70s, in the Florentine / Hollywood Regency spirit. A spectacular pair despite its compact size, which works equally well on either side of a mirror, a bed, or a console, as well as alone, as a true decorative wall object. The patina shows slight traces and nuances related to age, which fully contribute to the charm of these vintage pieces. Dimensions: diameter 30 cm – height/depth 18 cm. Sold as a pair.
