Reichsbahn table with narrow original beech top

Dimensions: h76 X w198 X d71.5 cm. Material: beech, cast iron. Year: plate around 1920. This panel made of light beech wood has a long history. Originally, it was installed on a baking table. After the bakery was closed, the baking table was moved to the shed and used as a work table. The table legs have fallen victim to the woodworm there. The only thing the worms probably didn't like was the plate. We re-glued the top, embedded it with hard wax oil and combined it with our reichsbahn legs to create a unique table. Let the story go on! The original leg was used on control tables and workbenches of the german reichsbahn from 1920 onwards. We like this elegant cast-iron table leg so much that we decided to have it recast. By the way, we always have old original table tops in stock, which we can combine with these cast iron table legs to create a unique table.
