Superb Louis XVI dining table in mahogany circa 1790 with 8 legs, measuring 5m03 in length with friezes. The table and the extensions both feature a frieze, which gives the table a stunning line. The table has 8 legs, which is important for its stability and strength given its large size. A very beautiful table with tapered Louis XVI legs ending in casters. Superb proportions that are visually satisfying. The table consists of 5 extensions in solid mahogany with friezes. Both the table and the five extensions have a beautiful flame. The friezes also have a lovely flame and have been polished as well. The table with the 5 mahogany extensions has been re-polished in our workshops.
