A pair of antique Danish giltwood wall mirrors, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. The rectangular wooden frames have a warm aged gold finish with a wide moulded profile, a grooved outer border and a fine beaded inner edge around the mirror glass. The simple symmetrical design gives the mirrors a classic neoclassical character. The aged gilt finish shows natural wear, small marks and areas of loss that add to their antique character.
