Mahogany Living Room Table, Louis XVI style – Early 20th century

Charming coffee table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, oval in shape and with a drawer in the belt. The facade is inlaid with a composition of nets alternating several species of wood in the shape of a rectangle. A draw button with rosette adorns the front. The sides and back of this small piece of furniture are made of the same precious wood marquetry. This piece of furniture rests on four slightly humped, whipped legs tapering towards the bottom and garnished in the upper part with bronze scraps made up of garlands of foliage.
