Danish Midcentury Reupholstered Blue Cocktail Chair, 1960s

Danish design chair. Trendy mid century cocktail chair with armrests by a to us unknown danish designer. Recently the upholstery has been renewed with quality wool fabric (de ploeg stavanger) in a dark and medium blue tone. It has a sturdy seat typical for these cocktail chairs. The darker blue wool on the base of the chair gives a nice flavour to it. With minimal signs of wear and use to the woodwork that are consistent with the age of this chair and the renewed reupholstery the vintage condition of this chair is very good. This furniture fabric is characterized by a rhythmic, soothing and soft pattern. De ploeg stavanger, named after a city in norway, provides tranquility and combines innovation with elegance.
