Pair of banker's lamps in excellent condition. Although better known today as the banker's lamp, it was originally called the emeralite, referring to the color of its "emerald green" shade. Its origins date back to 1909, when american engineer harrison d. Mcfaddin filed a patent application for a new and original shade design. The lamp then quickly went into production, this being the second original production launched by the company h. G mcfaddin & co. The first design was relatively simple: a brass (or sometimes just brass-plated) base holding a green shade. Retro style excellent condition height 36 cm & width 25 cm. Weight 2 kg each. Material brass glass types of finish painted 60 watts / volt 230 volts.
