Enfilade "Alvéole" – Design by Marcel Gascoin – Circa 1960

Rare model of sideboard produced by Mobilier Alvéole (original label present). This piece of furniture from the French Reconstruction combines the rigour of Marcel Gascoin's design with industrial modernity thanks to its square-section metal legs. Very functional, it offers 5 deep drawers and a large storage space with two doors. The golden 'fin' handles add a touch of elegance typical of the 50s/60s. In generally good condition. The structure is sound and stable. Note a patina of use on one door and the left side (see detail photo) which does not detract from the charm of this authentic piece.
