Coffee table in honed travertine by Claude Berraldacci

Very high-end square travertine coffee table. The square foot is fixed on the tabletop and has 2 ribbed sides and 2 smooth sides. The striated appearance gives a contemporary aspect to this classic material. The 2 rounded edges are cut into the mass of the top. The color is very light and very homogeneous in appearance. Perfect condition. This table comes directly from the background of designer claude berraldacci (photo), who designed it in the 90s. His brand was called “la pierre haute couture”. The stone is the purest of travertine. It comes from the tivoli quarry near rome, from which the vatican buildings, the colosseum and the trevi fountain are extracted. The stone is worked with great know-how which allows for a “softened travertine”: natural and matte, which highlights the mineral texture and the unique light color.
