'Uruguay' Crystal Vase from Val Saint Lambert

Period: ca. 1958 this large, thick crystal vase captures and diffuses light as only crystal can, and this is mainly due to the wide band of diamond-cut crystal. Three green bands adorn the vase. The vase is in the 1958 val saint lambert catalogue and bears the name "uruguay". The vase has an engraved signature on the base. Val saint lambert is a world-renowned belgian crystal manufacturer and has distinguished itself with high-quality pieces since its inception in the early 19th century. Condition: very good.
