Original Daybed PJ-L-12-A by Pierre Jeanneret for Chandigarh Project, 1950s

This Pierre Jeanneret daybed, model PJ-L-12-A, was made for a special order from the city of Chandigarh, India, - Administrative buildings of the Punjab University and some private residences. They were produced between 1952 and 1957 approximately. This daybed has compass-shaped legs and a solid teak structure covered with forest green leather. Provenance: photographer Kalle Gustafsson / Mason Gallery. This item has been renovated, the legs and the wooden frame are patinated. Slightly restored in the frame. Minor damage - normal wear due to age and use.
