Cane chair in Directoire / Louis XVI style – openwork back with love laces Elegant Directoire style chair, inspired by neoclassicism, made of solid wood. The seat is caned, finely woven, in a lovely honey tone, well-stretched. The moulded apron is decorated with a diamond-shaped carved cartouche, with diamond-pointed corner brackets. The front legs are turned, tapered, and fluted at the top, finished with sabot feet. The back legs are curved, sabre-shaped. Height 81 cm. Seat height 45 cm. Seat dimensions 40*38 cm.
