Danish vintage pendant lamp Semi by Bonderup and Thorup, Fog og Morup, 1968

The Semi lamp was designed in 1968 as the result of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to create a lamp with sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. In the 1980s, the lamp achieved great success, becoming the best-selling Danish design of its time, gaining worldwide recognition and iconic status. This is an original piece manufactured by Fog og Morup. Dimensions: Diameter 47cm. Height 23cm. The lamp is in good condition, but has some paint chips and a small dent. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided cable. A new metal canopy is included. The lamp ships from Denmark.
