Antique crystal and silver plated carafe

I offer you this magnificent carafe, which was called "Ewer" at the beginning of the 20th century. A ewer is an ovoid footed container with a handle and a spout intended to contain water and serve it. But it can also be used to decant wine with its "balloon" shape at the base. This one is in cut crystal, with its geometric shapes, topped with a spout and a silver-plated handle whose platinum has been preserved. Its crystal is in very good condition, no signs of wear from time. It is very clean and can be used. It offers a very nice touch of elegance on your table or as decoration. Origin: England.
