Rare set of 4 modernist design armchairs from post-war France 1945-1955, attributed to the Parisian manufacturer G.E.J. DENNERY, with the original label nailed to the back of one of the chairs. Made of solid beech, featuring geometric armrests, straight legs, and deep seating, characteristic of functionalist furniture from the period. Adjustable backs with a rack mechanism. Upholstered in Pierre Frey fabric. 2 pieces facing forward, 2 pieces facing backward. In beautiful vintage condition with a patina of time. A coherent set for an interior architecture project, holiday home, or hotel.
