German design junghans ato-mat stylish modernist table clock with an industrial appearance, battery operated, in stainless steel and lucite (acrylic or perspex), cylindrical stainless steel case with matching lid, u-shaped support in lucite / acrylic / perspex, chrome hands (hours, minutes, seconds), black dial without figures, only one round stainless dot for the 12, and white hairlines on the dial to the 3, 6, 9 and 12. The clockwork has a start-stop lever; must be used to start the clockwork after replacing the battery. Battery operated, one lr 14 baby 1.5 volt. In good working order and in good condition, noiseless; no damages, no cracks, no dents, hardly visible signs of wear and age, light wear on the underside of the lucite support and light discoloration on part of the lower narrow edge of the case, normally covered by the lid. Marked “germany” on the outside of the lid; marked on the clockwork: electronic lic. Ato made in germany. No other names or marks.
