Glazed stoneware jug, signed underneath the base Grès de l’Étang, France. Balanced shape, with a rounded body and slightly tapered neck. The glaze, with deep brown hues and metallic reflections, reveals a controlled firing. Attached handle, discreet spout. Interior vitrified. Workshop ceramic work, with a presence that is both understated and sculptural. Height: approximately 15 cm. Width: approximately 11.5 cm (excluding handle). Condition: very good overall condition.
